Find Screencaps under Pics, In Season 8 Shirley gets married to Mr. Meeney who works in the army, they're expecting their child soon. Meeney gets transferred so Shirley goes too, leaving Laverne a note. Shirley is not seen again in this season.

Laverne goes on a singles mountain climbing trip to meet guys. While she is away she asks Rhonda to water her plants and Carmine to fix her lights (which have been going on and off). The trouble starts when Carmine asks Rhonda to pass him a wrench, and the wrench passes itself. That night it rains and Laverne has to come home. She finds Rhonda, Carmine and Mr. Defassio are waiting. The rest of the night is spent trying to get the ghost out.

Lenny and Squiggy come to Laverne after they go to a flea market. There they bought a trunk from Hawaii. Thinking there might be a ticket inside Lenny opens the trunk to find a treasure map of the Mojave Desert. Lenny and Squiggy decide to set of for treasure. They go to Cowboy Bill's in order to get food for their trip to the desert, but they accidently let the secret out. With Frank and Carmine with them the group of 4 set out to the desert to encounter arrow shaped cactus and rum worth thousands.
