Written by Jessica Almasy

Ridg Laps was an avant garde depiction of the kids at the end of a cul de sac, their everyday adventures and their epileptic next door neighbor in 1992. I played "Lincoln's Daughter", one of the cul-de-sac kids, a sort of afterbirth child, and created her costume.

"IBRAHIM LINCOLN'S DAUGHTER SITS IN THE SAC.
HER LEGS ARE BROKEN.
HER TEETH IS CURDLED.
HER TONGIS WET.
SHE BREATHES BUT SHE CANNOT TELL YOU WHY.
SHE CANNOT TELL SHE CANNOT TELL.
SHE CANNOT TELL A LIE"
